Nostalgift does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal or sensitive user data.
Nostalgift runs only on https://web.telegram.org/k/*. Inside
Telegram Web's own "Send a Gift" popup it reads the name of the chat recipient
and the structure of the popup, so that it can show you who a gift would go to
and place its gift list in the right position. That information stays in the
page. It is never stored, and it never leaves your browser.
Nostalgift contacts no server. It has no backend, no analytics and no error
reporting. The only file it ever loads is one of its own gift animations, read
from inside the installed extension package at a chrome-extension://
address, and only when you hover a gift to play it. It requests no third-party
address.
The only web addresses it can request are the three Telegram donation invoices described under "The optional support invoices" below. They do nothing until you choose one.
localStorage, no
chrome.storage.Nostalgift never submits a payment. When you press "Continue in Telegram" it asks Telegram for a payment form and then hands you over to Telegram's own payment interface. Every payment is made by you, inside Telegram, under Telegram's own terms and privacy policy.
After Telegram's payment popup has opened, the extension shows three Telegram Stars amounts — 1, 10 and 100. Each is a reusable invoice link that Telegram issued to the developer in advance. Choosing one asks Telegram Web to open Telegram's own Stars payment window; the click never navigates away from the page. Doing so is voluntary, the links are identical for every user and carry nothing about you, and the extension handles no money, holds no credentials and receives nothing back.
If these practices ever change, this page will be updated and the change described in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing before the new version is published.
